Nominations for Chief Stewards for the Downtown DSL Office and the Boonville Hwy Garage were taken during the July 20, 2009 regular membership meeting.  No nominations were made for the downtown DSL office.  Jim Bockting was nominated and accepted nomination for the 5525 Old Boonville Hwy Garage.  No other nominations were made.  Jim Bockting is now the Chief Steward for the Old Boonville Hwy garage. 

   

   

Nominations for Chief Stewards for the Columbus Garage and Shelbyville Garage were taken during the July 27, 2009 regular membership meeting.  Bill Turner was nominated and accepted nomination for the Shelbyville Garage.  Ethan Krise was nominated for the Columbus Garage.  No other nominations were made. Bill Turnere is now the Chief Steward for the Shelbyville garage and Ethan Krise is now the Chief Steward for the Columbus garage.

Amendments to CWA Local 4700 By-Laws were voted upon by members during our May 18, 2009 membership meetings concerning the structure of our local leadership.  The amendments were passed unanimously by those in attendance.  The leadership structure for CWA Local 4700 shall now be President, Executive Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer, North Division Area Representative and South Division Area Representative.  Those amendments concerning our local leadership structure were necessary to bring CWA Local 4700 into compliance with the CWA International Constitution. 

Subsequently, nominations for those local offices were conducted by the election committee.
